Dateline Imports returns to Hair Festival 2025 with hero brands live on THE STAGE and Festival Hub, including Malibu C, BaBylissPRO & more.
Dateline Imports is bringing its dynamic suite of brands - Malibu C and BaBylissPRO, Silver Bullet, StyleCraft by Silver Bullet, Parlux, Mizumi, iQ Perfetto and Framar – to Hair Festival 2025 with a significant impact. Taking place at the ICC, Sydney, on June 29 and 30, be prepared for two full days of inspiring insights, looks and innovations from these leading brands.
Special international guest stars will offer free education sessions on dedicated stages that will take over the Festival Hub. A Dateline Imports stage, showcasing BaBylissPRO and StyleCraft by Silver Bullet educators, as well as a separate, specialised Malibu C stage, will keep the education rolling all weekend long.
In the education sessions, BaBylissPRO’s international and Australian educators will inspire with a blockbuster line-up. Headlined by BaBylissPRO Global Ambassador, Paul Percival, hailing from the UK, Paul will lead the 2025 Australian BaBylissPRO Education Team in showcasing the brand’s technology and his renowned approach to hair, where his modern looks are defined by their clean lines, soft texture, and natural movement, with creative twists. Paul boasts a celebrity clientele, editorial expertise and over 25 years of experience, as a leading session stylist and the founder of Percy & Reed salon in Central London. His work for celebrities such as the Spice Girls, Bjork, Kylie Minogue, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris, not to mention at global Fashion Weeks and on high profile film sets, makes him a sought-after talent.
Joining Paul for his first live appearance in Australia, both on THE STAGE and the Dateline Imports stage all weekend, members of the National Education Team will also share their business talents and barbering expertise.
For Malibu C, American board-certified hair colourist, certified clinical trichologist and global educator for the brand, Missy Peterson, will educate on the Malibu C stage, as well as THE STAGE, which is the main source of bite-sized education in the Festival Hub. Missy will present an education session titled ‘Combat Hair Loss and Restore Vibrancy: The Science of Corrective Haircare and Colour’, where she will teach the science behind scalp health, vibrant colour results and how to effectively tackle hair loss.
In the free Festival Hub, Dateline Imports will also launch a myriad of new products, with key launches especially from BaBylissPRO. The all-new Nightfall Collection offers dusky hues across the powerful technology of the BaBylissPRO Nightfall Nano Titanium Optima 3000 Hair Straightener, Nightfall Nano Titanium Extended Barrel Curling Iron, Nightfall FXONE Trimmer and Foil Shaver Duo and Nightfall FXONE Lo-ProFX Clipper and Trimmer Duo.
The brand will also launch the Nano Titanium Light Ionic High-Speed Dryer, which weighs less than 450g as an ultra-lightweight, effective salon tool, available in Matte Black, Neon Green and Blush Pink. A digital BLDC motor and nine LED heat and speed settings pack power and versatility in a small frame and unique T-shaped design. A concentrator nozzle, extra-deep contoured diffuser and straightening comb attachments add to this technology.
